Public Relations and Information Office

Public AffairsThe Public Affairs Office is the “community contact” point for the Sheriff’s Office. This is the department that handles news media inquiries and makes routine announcements to the media about items of interest involving the Sheriff’s Office. All Official Press Releases are listed in our News Releases section of this web site.

The Public Affairs Office is also the clearing house for neighborhood organizations, churches and community groups interested in knowing more about the Sheriff’s Office. Representatives from the Public Affairs Office work closely with the Crime Prevention Office to arrange for community programs on a variety of topics.
