The girls, students at Craigmont Middle School, left school early last Wednesday. While at a nearby gas station, they reported Lacy approached them and offered his cell phone number.

Later that same day, one of the girls called Lacy. Investigators say his friend, Maceo Fox, then drove to a business in Raleigh where he picked up the girls and took them to his home on Cedar Ridge Cove in Shelby County near Bartlett.

One of the girls, 13, said Lacy raped her. The other girl, 12, said Fox tried to assault her but refused his advances.

Tonight, both Brian Lacy and Maceo Fox are in the Shelby County Jail. Lacy has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery and Statutory Rape. Fox has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery and Criminal Attempt To Wit Statutory Rape.
