Argument Leads to Northaven Shooting

Shelby County Sheriff's detectives say a teenager was shot this afternoon after he and several others got into an argument in Northaven.
Deputies say just after 2 o'clock, the 17 year-old was shot as he stood in the driveway of a home at 864 Brandywine Boulevard.
Witnesses told Sheriff's detectives several shots were fired narrowly missing some children and other adults standing near the victim.
Sheriff's Investigators are sorting out conflicting statements about whether the young man shot was armed. He was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis in stable condition.
Deputies say the victim and several others in the neighborhood have been involved in an on-going feud recently in the Northaven community.
Investigators are still interviewing witnesses trying to get a description of those involved in the shooting and the vehicle they were in when the left the neighborhood.
