Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators say the driver of a pick up truck which crashed last night in Arlington was Silverio Estrada Pacheco, 29, of Fayette County.

Deputies say Pacheco was driving east on Donelson Road about 9:30 when his 2005 Ford F-350 pick up truck ran off the road as it rounded a curve. The truck hit some trees and flipped over.

Personnel with the Shelby County Fire Department, Arlington Fire Department, Rural Metro Ambulance Service and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services were called.  However, Pacheco had already died. 

No other persons were in the truck and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Deputies say Pacheco was wearing a seat belt.  Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. 

This is the 8th traffic fatality of the year investigated by Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies.
