Sheriff’s Detectives charged a man this afternoon with robbing a tobacco store in Arlington the day after Christmas.
Investigators believe Terrance D. Lurry, 23, of Arlington, was the robber.
A clerk told Deputies a man entered the Tobacco Center at 5780 Airline Road, Suite 105 just after 6:00 p.m. this past Monday evening (December 26, 2005).
Armed with a knife, the robber forced the clerk to give him $180.00 from the cash drawer. The man then ran to a nearby neighborhood.
Investigators say Terrance Lurry was arrested this afternoon after a tip from a concerned citizen. He was charged with Aggravated Robbery.
