Three men robbed a convenience store last night near Bartlett. Detectives say about 10:20, two men walked into K-C’s Market and Deli at 4861 Austin Peay.
Clerks said the men sat down in the deli area. After several minutes, they walked to the counter. One of the men then pulled a gun and demanded money from the clerk.
The other suspect went behind the counter and took an undetermined amount of cash.
Both men, who had dark complexions, ran out of the store and were seen getting into what appeared to be a late model white Chevrolet Impala that was driven by a woman, also with a dark complexion. The car sped down Austin Peay towards Memphis.
One of the suspects appeared to be about 19 years old. He wore a blue plaid shirt and had dark pants.
No age was available on the second suspect, who was wearing a dark tee shirt, dark pants and a ball cap.
No description except the complexion was available regarding woman get-away driver.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Detectives are currently reviewing images from the store’s security camera to see if the system captured the suspects’ pictures. Those pictures will be sent should they become available.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (901) 545-5600 or Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274).
