The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office early today concluded a successful joint crime suppression effort with the Memphis Police Department in the Evergreen area of Midtown.

The enforcement area was bounded by:
- North-Chelsea
- South-North Parkway
- West-Bellevue
- East-Springdale
Traffic roadblocks were posted at Mc Lean at Vollintine and other nearby intersections.
Here are the results of the crime suppression effort:
- Total arrests: 30
- 7-Felonies-associated with burglaries, aggravated assault, and other crimes
- 23-Misdemeanors
