Teenagers And Young Adults Needed For Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program

Release Date: January 12, 2006

Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell, Jr., is looking for teenagers and young adults who would like to serve the community and gain valuable experience for a career in law enforcement.

“Young people need a way to discover their talents and understand the importance of helping others. The Explorer Program provides opportunities for both. I’m calling on teenagers and young adults across Shelby County to consider being part of our Explorer Program,” said Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell, Jr.

An orientation will be held on March 7, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., at the Sheriff’s Office Training Academy at 993 Dovecrest.
