The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office will again sponsor a charity golf tournament to benefit the students at Klondike Elementary School. The tournament will be held next week in Bartlett.
“For the past several years, the Sheriff’s Office has supported Klondike Elementary in North Memphis as our ‘Adopt-A-School.’ Last year we raised $6,000 for student programs. We’re hoping many people will join us for this year’s event,” said Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell, Jr.
The tournament will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008, at Quail Ridge Golf Course at 4055 Altruria Road. Lunch will be served at noon and the foursome amateur scramble begins at 1:30 p.m.
There is a $100.00 entry fee. Awards and door prizes will be presented after the tournament.
Various staff members of Klondike Elementary School and other community leaders are expected to play in the tournament.
