WHAT:

The Shelby County Jail has received national accreditation for meeting rigorous health care standards for inmates. Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell, Jr., Health Department Director Yvonne Madlock and those who lead the medical services at the Shelby County jail facilities, will discuss the accreditation at the news conference.

This will be a significant announcement regarding Sheriff Luttrell's continuing plan to improve operations at the Shelby County Jail.
