Deputies Raid Hickory Hill Home and Discover Drugs and Guns

A Hickory Hill man was arrested yesterday morning after Deputies raided his home. Acting on a tip, Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Deputies went to the house in the 6500 block of Copper Leaf Cove about 11:30.

Officers discovered about 60 pounds of marijuana in individual packages scattered throughout the house. Deputies also found drug scales, several loaded pistols and almost $140,000 in cash.

Edwardo Lozano, 30, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, deliver or sell marijuana, being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun and possessing a firearm during the commission of or the attempt to commit a dangerous felony.

Deputies also seized two vehicles, a motorcycle and electronic equipment that were purchased with proceeds from the marijuana.
