Sheriff's Deputies from the DUI, Patrol, Traffic and Reserve Bureaus were on high alert on New Year’s Eve and in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day.

Deputies arrested three people for impaired driving as the result of alcohol or other drugs. 108 Traffic Citations were also issued. Here is a breakdown of the violations:

• 100 Regular Citations
• 2 Juvenile Citations
• 3 Courtesy Citations
• 3 Misdemeanor Citations (will have to report to jail for booking at a later time)

Of the 108 Citations:

• 31 Disregard Traffic Signal/Stop Sign
• 40 Speeding
• 7 Seatbelt
• 13 Violation of Vehicle Registration
• 6 No Drivers License
• 8 Other Moving Violations
• 3 Other Non-moving Violations
