Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives continue their search for three men who robbed a North Shelby County convenience store the day after Christmas.

Just after one in the morning on December 26, deputies received a burglar alarm call from the K. C. Market at 4861 Austin Peay Highway. The store was closed at the time. When officers arrived they found the store’s front door shattered.

Once inside, deputies realized two of the cash register drawers had been stolen along with a safe and several hundred cartons of cigarettes.

The store’s security camera recorded the burglary. It shows one man throwing a rock at the glass door. Deputies believe, however, at least two other men were with the man. Although their images were not clearly captured on the security tape, it appears the two other suspects are in their thirties and the man who threw the rock appears to be in his forties.

The suspects were driving a dark-blue or green late model Ford F-150 Extended Cab pick-up truck with silver colored panels below the doors. While investigating the burglary, deputies found some items in the store parking lot dropped by the suspects. Deputies say the items had been stolen from a vehicle earlier on Christmas night in Tipton County.
