Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to donate $5,000 raised from Charity Golf Tournament to Klondike Elementary School

image goes hereWHY: Klondike Elementary School is the “Adopt-A-School” for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. This past October 16, a charity golf tournament was held at Big Creek Golf Course in North Shelby County to assist children at the school.

The event raised $5,000 through entry fees. The donations will be used to help offset expenses for student field trips, school supplies, and snacks for tutoring programs at the school.
