Crime Prevention Is The Topic of Sheriff Luttrell’s TV Show This Month

This month’s “From the Sheriff’s Desk” TV show focuses on the various ways the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Bureau serves our community.

Sheriff Luttrell interviews Crime Prevention Deputies John Garcia and Ron Taylor. Deputy Garcia is a School Resource Officer at Northaven Elementary School. Deputy Taylor gives crime prevention talks on various topics at churches, schools and neighborhood associations.

Sheriff Luttrell and the Deputies discuss the importance of interdicting crime and finding ways to help children, teenagers and adults to keep from being the victims of crime.

The show airs on Memphis Cablevision Channel 17 every Thursday at Noon. It also airs on Time Warner Channel 6 every 2nd Monday at 6:00 p.m.
