A man was shot this morning after four men broke into his home in North Shelby County about 8 o'clock this morning.

The intruders kicked in a back door of the house in the 5600 block of Dedo Circle South near Bartlett.

Once inside, the suspects tied up the man and his wife and then shot the man.

A neighbor saw the suspects run from the home with a black bag. They left the neighborhood in a red  Dodge Neon.

The man shot was taken to The Med. He's  in critical condition.
