	Shelby County Sheriff’s Traffic Deputies say a woman was killed this past Saturday (August 20) when the motorcycle she was driving was hit by another car in South-East Shelby County.
August 19	Northaven Murder Charges
	Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives have charged a man who they believe killed another man in the Northaven area back in June.

	The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for the next Citizens’ Academy, which starts next month.
August 16	Elderly Woman Found in Neighborhood Lake
	Detectives with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office say an elderly woman who apparently wandered away from her home early this morning was found dead in Spring Lake, a private lake in a neighborhood near Bartlett.

	Officers with the Metro D.U.I. Squad went undercover this past Friday evening (August 12) and found clerks at 14 businesses in Memphis selling alcohol to persons under the legal drinking age of 21.
August 12	Deputies Investigate Robberies at Restaurants
	Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives say there have been two recent armed robberies at restaurants on Hacks Cross Road in South-East Shelby County. Deputies have arrested two men who they believe are responsible for one of the robberies.

	Officers with the Metro D.U.I. Squad went undercover this past Saturday evening (August 6) and found clerks at 15 Memphis businesses selling alcohol to underage customers.
