Former Shelby County Sheriff A.C. Gilless, who served in office longer than any other Shelby County Sheriff, passed away at his Cordova home just after midnight. Family members say Gilless, 70, died of complications from lung cancer.

One Car Crash Proves Fatal for Millington Woman

A one vehicle crash today killed a Millington woman. Shelby County Sheriff’s Traffic Deputies say Tabitha Koger, 31, of Millington, was driving south on Charles Bartlett Road near Bass Road when she apparently lost control of her car and hit a tree.
