September 22	Child Passenger Safety Community Event
	Shelby County Crime Prevention Deputies will join representatives of State Farm Insurance Company this weekend to give safety demonstrations about the proper way to keep children secure while riding in vehicles.

	Officers with the Metro D.U.I. Squad went undercover last Friday evening (September 16) and found clerks at seven (7) Whitehaven businesses selling alcohol to persons under the legal drinking age of 21.

	Shelby County Sheriff’s Traffic Deputies say a Shelby County School bus hit another vehicle this morning just before eight o’clock. The bus was taking 38 children to Bartlett Elementary School.
September 10	Zero Tolerance Suppression Effort
	Deputies from the Patrol, Traffic, Narcotics, Metro Gang, SWAT, DUI Squad, General Investigation, Reserve Deputy and Emergency Services divisions with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office conducted a crime suppression initiative for several hours yesterday in various parts of North Shelby County and Memphis.
