A Hickory Hill man was arrested yesterday morning after Deputies raided his home. Acting on a tip, Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Deputies went to the house in the 6500 block of Copper Leaf Cove about 11:30.

The Memphis and Shelby County Optimist “Respect for the Law Committee,” made up of representatives of the 12 Optimist Clubs in Memphis and Shelby County, have name Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Charles “Marty” Tartera as “Officer of the Year” today at a Ceremony at Sheriff’s Office headquarters at 201 Poplar.
