Frederick J. Johnson

Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a Northaven man who relatives say has been missing for several months. Family members have not had contact with Frederick J. Johnson since last June. Johnson, 29, lives in the 5200 block of Beaverton Drive in Northaven.

Relatives say Johnson left home five months ago and they later tracked him to Calvary Rescue Mission on South Third. Since then, however, Johnson has not answered his cell phone.

Johnson had been arrested last June by Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputies on Worthless Check and Failure to Comply with Insurance charges. However, after being released from jail, Johnson failed to meet with his probation officer.

Although competent and no medical conditions, family members say it is not like Johnson to be gone this long without having contact with him.

Frederick J. Johnson is black and stands 6’1. He has brown eyes and black hair. He also has a mustache. Shelby County Sheriff’s detectives have notified law enforcement agencies across the nation about Johnson’s disappearance.

Anyone with information about Frederick Johnson is asked to call the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office General Investigation Bureau at (901) 545-5600.
