Charges Placed In Northaven Area Murder

Shelby County Sheriff's Detectives say Damien Clark, 24, has now been charged with First Degree Murder in connection with Wednesday's shooting in a Northaven neighborhood in North Shelby County.

Witnesses told investigators they saw Clark and Demetrius Green, also 24, arguing in the street out front of Clark's home at 5256 Braden near Brandywine just before 2 p.m. When Deputies arrived, they found Green dead in the street.

Damien Clark surrendered to Sheriff's Detectives late yesterday evening. He remains in the Shelby County Jail today.
