Couple Bound and Robbed During North Shelby County Home Invasion

Sheriff’s Deputies say a couple was tied up and robbed early this morning after two men broke into their home.

The victims, Gary Bryant, 55, and his wife, Nancy Bryant, 52, live at the house in the 6500 block of Austin Peay Highway.  

During the attack about 4:30 this morning, the assailants took cash, jewelry, a gun and a checkbook belonging to the victims’ tree service business.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryant said the two men bound their hands and put a cover over their eyes but were not physically injured during the robbery.  The couple managed to call Deputies after the attackers left the home through a front window.

Detectives are searching for the suspects who are black and were wearing dark colored clothes.
