One Car Crash Proves Fatal for Millington Woman

A one vehicle crash today killed a Millington woman. Shelby County Sheriff’s Traffic Deputies say Tabitha Koger, 31, of Millington, was driving south on Charles Bartlett Road near Bass Road when she apparently lost control of her car and hit a tree.

She was taken to the MED where she died from her injuries shortly after 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. Investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt. Tests will be conducted to see if alcohol was involved. Deputies say that speed was the apparent cause of the accident.
