The Shelby County Sheriff's Office will promote 14 personnel to various ranks within the Sheriff's Office this evening.

The ceremony is to be held at the Sheriff's Office Training Academy at 993 Dovecrest in East Memphis.

Here are those who will be promoted:

To Sergeant:

• Terry Lomax
• Terry Bishop
• Charles Eldridge
• Katie McKinnie
• Charles Mays
• Samuel Lindsey
• Gracie Hatchett

To Lieutenant:

• Lawrence Allen
• Michael Coleman
• Oscar Harris

To Captain:

• James Holland
• Nancy Lucchesi

To Inspector:

• Floyd Bonner
• William Sears
