Restaurant Employee Charged With Arranging Robbery — Robbers Being Sought By Deputies
Release Date: March 1, 2006
Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a McDonald’s restaurant on Hacks Cross Road in South-East Shelby County this past Monday night (February 27).
Deputies have already arrested an employee of the restaurant who they believe assisted with the hold-up. Investigators say just after eleven o’clock on Monday night, two men entered the backdoor of the restaurant at 3805 Hacks Cross Road. One of the men was armed with a riffle. The men ordered all five employees to lay down on the floor. The manager was then robbed of an undetermined amount of money.
On Tuesday (February 28), detectives arrested Andre Dean, 18, of Memphis, an employee at the restaurant. Detectives believe Dean arranged for the two robbers to enter the restaurant and rob his fellow employees. Also on Tuesday, investigators arrested Jacques Davis, 18, of Memphis. They believe Davis drove the getaway car for the two robbers.
