Detectives search for the Killer of a Shelby County Man Found Dead in his Home

Shelby County Sheriff's Detectives continue their search for the person who killed a man in his South-East Shelby County home near Collierville.
On New Year's Eve, Keviorr Woodruff, 37, was found shot to death at his home at 4709 Forest Trail. Family members told investigators they had not heard from Woodruff for a couple of weeks and had become concerned for his safety.
Deputies went to the house shortly after ten o'clock that morning and forced open a kitchen door. Investigators found Woodruff dead of a gun shot wound. It appeared he had been dead for a least a week.
