Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies are continuing their search today for two men who robbed a pizza store in Lakeland last night.

About 8:20, clerks at the Pizza Pro store at 8950 Highway 64, said two men armed with pistols came into the store. The men, both black and believed to be in their early twenties, demanded money. Clerks handed over an undetermined amount of cash. No one was hurt in the robbery.

The men sped away in a white Ford Crown Victoria. Witnesses could not determine the model year of the vehicle.

Detectives say one of the men wore a white shirt. The other man had on a black shirt.
