Deputies believe they were in a truck this past Saturday night when shots were fired from the vehicle at a home in the 5200 block of Breckenwood in Northaven. Lanessa Hall, 23, was shot in the ankle and is recovering from her injury.
Investigators are still looking for another man who they believe shot and killed Phillip Williamson, 19, who lived in the Woodstock area. That shooting, also on Breckenwood, happened just after the initial shooting. Detectives say the shootings were sparked by a neighborhood rivalry that has connections to criminal gangs.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the person responsible for killing Williamson is asked to call the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (901) 545-5600 or Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274).
