“From The Sheriff’s Desk” TV Show Guests

Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell hosts a 30-minute TV show called, “From the Sheriff’s Desk.” The program features initiatives of the Sheriff’s Office and how it assists the community.

Currently, Sheriff Luttrell and his guests, Chief Deputy Bill Oldham and “Wink” Downen, Administrator of Information Systems, discuss the “Compstat” computer tracking system used by the Sheriff’s Office.

The “Compstat” program tracks crime statistics and measures financial and operational indicators for the law enforcement, jail and administrative divisions of the Sheriff’s Office.

The show airs on Memphis Cablevision Channel 17 every Thursday at Noon. It also airs on Time Warner Channel 6 every 2nd Monday at 6:00 p.m.
