“From The Sheriff’s Desk” TV Show Guests

Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell hosts a 30-minute TV show called, “From the Sheriff’s Desk.” The program features initiatives of the Sheriff’s Office and how it assists the community.

Currently, Sheriff Luttrell and his guests, Jessica Selby and Linda Gregory of the West Tennessee COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors) organization, discuss the role of COPS in assisting families of police officers who are killed in the line of duty.

Ms. Gregory’s brother, a police officer in Florida, was killed several years ago. Jessica Selby lost her husband, Shelby County Deputy Sheriff George Selby, when he was killed in December of 2002 while serving a search warrant for drugs at a home in Frayser.

The show airs on Memphis Cablevision Channel 17 every Thursday at Noon. It also airs on Time Warner Channel 6 every 2nd Monday at 6:00 p.m.
