Security Camera In Lakeland Waffle House Captures Robber’s Picture

Waffle House PhotoShelby County Sheriff’s Deputies say a store security camera at the Waffle House in Lakeland shows a picture of the man they believe robbed the restaurant last week.

Employees say on December 29, 2005, a man walked into the restaurant at 3640 Canada Road about 3:30 in the morning. He went to the check out area armed with a gun.

The robber told the cashier to give him money from the cash register. After taking the money, he ran south on Canada Road.

No one was hurt during the hold-up.

The suspect is a black man, stands about 5’8” and weighs about 145 pounds. During the robbery he was wearing an orange tee shirt and a gray sweat suit with a hood.
