Deputies Charge Arlington Man With Robbing Lakeland Waffle House
Release Date: January 5, 2006
Shelby County Sheriff’s Detectives have a man in custody this evening who they believe robbed the Waffle House in Lakeland last week.
Investigators received a tip about the case after a person saw a picture of the suspect that was captured on the restaurant’s security camera.
Brian Hines, 26, has been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
Employees at the Waffle House say on December 29, 2005, a man with a gun walked into the restaurant at 3640 Canada Road about 3:30 that morning.
He went to the checkout area and demanded money. The robber ran away with $390.00 in cash.
No one was hurt during the hold-up.
This afternoon detectives searched Hines’ home and found the gun and orange tee shirt used during the robbery.
