The Sheriff’s Office now has a variety of resources available at the official website: www.shelby-sheriff.org

Besides media releases and accompanying mug shots which date back to 2002, there are links for current crime statistics for neighborhoods patrolled by Sheriff’s Deputies, crime prevention programs, the top traffic crash locations and other important information.

A special section is listed on the home page for crime victims, especially those involved in domestic issues. Also, a personal safety plan for domestic violence victims is available along with a guide to several agencies in Shelby County which assist victims.

Technological improvements have also been made to the site which allows the showing of videos. Crime surveillance videos as well as crime prevention messages will be posted at the site in the coming weeks.
