Community & Legislative Affairs
The Community Affairs Office is also the clearing house for neighborhood organizations, churches and community groups interested in knowing more about the Sheriff’s Office. Representatives from the Public Affairs Office work closely with the Crime Prevention Office to arrange for community programs on a variety of topics.

Community Affairs Office provides “hands-on” service to the community. Representatives tour neighborhoods to gain insight about crime trends and work with other government agencies to address any problems that might be reported.

The Office of Legislative Affairs works closely with County Board of Commissioners, Tennessee Sheriff’s Association, and local and state elected officials in an effort to support and push legislation agenda pertaining to law enforcement personnel.
